Universal Plastic and the University of Oviedo have signed a collaboration agreement to connect applied research, academic talent, and ocean technology in the fight against marine plastic pollution.

The agreement, initially valid for four years, establishes a framework for cooperation between academia, industry, and society to develop solutions for one of the most pressing environmental challenges facing marine ecosystems today: plastic pollution and its impact on ecosystems, the blue economy, and coastal communities.
