We’re joining forces to multiply solutions to the marine-plastic crisis and bring the blue economy to businesses in a practical, measurable, and transformative way.
What will we do together?
Through this collaboration, Oceanogami becomes a strategic ally of Universal Plastic, helping to bring our technology, methodology, and community to companies that want to actively commit to caring for the ocean.
This will take shape along two main lines of action:
1) Outreach and advisory for businesses
Oceanogami will promote Universal Plastic across its network of companies, institutions, and partners, showing how they can join the Become Blue movement: a way for businesses to participate in the blue economy based on action, commitment, and transparency.
Through Blue Campaigns, companies can financially support Ocean Defenders—local organisations leading plastic-collection efforts in marine environments around the world. Every action is recorded in our app, generating traceable data and interactive reports that make the real impact visible.
The data generated also contribute to the work of UNESCO-IOC (the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission), which tracks global progress on ocean-related Sustainable Development Goals. This connection with international bodies ensures that each company’s impact becomes useful information for decision-making at a global scale.
2) Blue-purpose teambuilding
Together, we’ll design corporate teambuilding experiences focused on the blue economy: beach plastic clean-ups using our APP to record all data, educational sessions, strategic workshops, and activities that help teams learn, take action, and connect tangibly with the value of the ocean.
