As a B Corp company, we understand the importance of preserving our planet, and this action in Asturias allowed us to experience firsthand the magnitude of the plastic problem in our oceans and beaches. Inspired by this experience, we have launched a global campaign for massive plastic collection in India. Thanks to our collaboration and financial support, numerous “Ocean Defenders” will be able to remove plastic from their surroundings and receive rewards for their valuable work. La Newyorkina
At UNIVERSAL PLASTIC® , we firmly believe that companies must generate a positive impact at every stage of their production process. In February 2024, we had the opportunity to collaborate with our friends at La Newyorkina for a plastic collection event on Xagó Beach in Avilés. We are proud to have certified La Newyorkina as part of our Verified Blue program, an initiative aimed at recognizing companies committed to environmental stewardship.
