These Terms of Service («Terms») govern your access to and use of Universal Plastics» websites, our APIs, mobile application (the «App») and any other software, tools, features or functionality provided on or in connection with our services; including, without limitation, using our services to view, scan and certify data ( Carbon Credits ) and using our tools, at your own discretion, to connect directly with others to buy, sell or transfer Data on public blockchains (collectively, the «Service»). For the purposes of these Terms, «user», refers to you as a user of the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent and warrant that (a) you are an authorized representative of the entity with the authority to bind the entity to these Terms and you agree to these Terms on behalf of the entity. Universal Plastic is not a wallet provider, exchange, broker, financial institution or creditor. Universal Plastic is a peer-to-peer web service that helps users discover and interact directly with each other to help clean the seas and oceans and generate and sell carbon and plastic credits.
Universal Plastic offers a subscription service that allows our subscribers to clean up plastic from the sea from home.
These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, «Universal Plastic service», «our service» or «the service» refers to the personalized service we provide to clean kg of plastic from the sea around the world, as well as the personalized certificates you will receive every month on your behalf.
Billing and cancellation
• Billing Cycle. The subscription fee for the Universal Plastic service will be charged to your Payment Method on the same day of payment and every 30 days after the first payment. In some cases, the billing date may change, such as if your Payment Method has not been set up correctly.
• Payment methods. To use the Universal plastic service you must provide one or more Payment Methods. If your primary Payment Method is declined or is no longer available for us to charge your subscription fee, your subscription will not be completed and you will not receive your personalized certificates. You will remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. Local tax charges may vary depending on the Payment Method used. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.
• Changing your Payment Methods. You can change your Payment Methods by sending us an email at info@universalplastic.io indicating your first name, last name and subscription type. After each change, you authorize us to continue to charge you through the applicable Payment Method(s).
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription to Universal Plastic at any time by sending an email to info@universalplastic.io with the subject CANCEL and your first and last name and subscription type. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial monthly subscription periods.
• Price and subscription plan changes. We may change our subscription plans and pricing at any time. However, no change in pricing or your subscription plans will be effective until 30 days after we notify you. Miscellaneous Provisions.
• Governing Law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. These terms shall not limit any consumer protection to which you may be entitled under the laws of your country of residence.
• Customer Service. For more information about our service and your options, or if you need help with your subscription, please contact us at info@universalplastic.io.
• Survival. If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use shall be declared invalid, illegal or ineffective, the validity, legality and effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• Changes to Terms of Use. Universal Plastic may change these Terms of Use from time to time. We will provide you with at least 30 days» notice before any such changes affect you.
• Electronic communications. We will send you information about your account (payment authorizations, invoices, changes to your password or Payment Method, confirmation messages, notices, etc.) only in electronic form, for example, via e-mail to the e-mail address you provided when you registered.
